Princess Puskas

Princess Puskas is a senior economist in the Modelling and Forecasting unit, Research and Financial Stability Department at the Central Bank of Botswana. Over the past decade, she has achieved proficiency in macro-economic analysis and forecasting, as well as deriving clarity, insight and knowledge from data in the formulation and implementation of monetary policy. She has keen interest in topics relating to the adoption of digital technologies, for example, mobile money payments to facilitate financial inclusion, and offer potential for financial integration for micro, small and medium sized enterprises, as well as develop regulations that encourage inclusiveness, while minimising fraud and risk. 

Ms Puskas holds a Master of Commerce, specialising in Economics from the University of Cape Town, and is a member of the 2022 Young African TradeExperettes Fellowship.
