Driven by growing geopolitical challenges, economic security has risen to the forefront of policy concerns of global policy makers and businesses. This security encompasses a broad set of interconnected issues and elements, such as controls on data and critical technologies, restrictions on information and communication technology products and services, and efforts to strengthen supply chain resilience. To address such concerns and bolster economic security, the United States is developing a toolkit that includes incentives, import and export restrictions, tightened investment screening, and policy coordination with partners and allies.
The TradeExperettes, Women’s Foreign Policy Group, and the Embassy of Denmark cordially invite you to a timely discussion: National Security and the Supply Chain: Finding Economic Security in a Changing World, hosted by the Ambassador of Denmark to the U.S. The event will be held at the Ambassador’s residence, 3200 Whitehaven St NW, Washington, DC, on Thursday, May 16.
