TradeExperettes Statement Supporting Young Experts on Trade Policy

TradeExperettes is a network of female trade experts across the world. We aim to elevate women working in international trade-related fields and connect others with their expertise. We want to have more women participate in the global conversation on trade, and we actively work to improve the status quo of male-dominated public debates. We promote the work of young professionals and support them in increasing their presence in conferences and meetings.  

We want to use our platform to support the next generation of female trade experts. One of our priorities is to amplify the voices of women from diverse ethnic and geographic backgrounds. 

We can help them build their confidence, express their opinions, enrich discussions on trade, and drive the conversation forward. 

We plan to expand our outreach to university students and women in the early stages of their career in trade.

We use the principles of positive action to support and engage with future leaders, traders and academics from diverse backgrounds. 

We offer a platform where women can share their research, write blog contributions, develop public speaking skills, expand their network, and participate in events with prominent speakers.
