Digital Trade Day: Shaping the Future of Global Digital Trade

Join Us for Digital Trade Day: Shaping the Future of Global Digital Trade

The TradeExperettes, in collaboration with the World Trade Organization (WTO), cordially invite you to Digital Trade Day, taking place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM CEST, at WTO (Room D) and online.

As digital trade transforms the global economy, it presents exciting opportunities to enable more inclusive markets and drive sustainable growth, particularly for developing economies. However, these advancements also pose challenges around governance, regulation, and equitable access.

This special event will bring together distinguished experts from the private sector, academia, and policymaking to explore how digital trade can become a true force for good. The discussions will focus on strategies to foster a more inclusive digital economy, setting the stage for essential conversations leading up to the 2025 WTO Public Forum and MC14.

The program includes two engaging panels:

  • Panel 1: The Promise of Digital Trade will highlight the transformative power of digital trade for developing economies, featuring insights from businesses, researchers, and policy leaders.

  • Panel 2: The Governance of Digital Trade will dive into the current regulatory landscape, address gaps, and discuss practical steps to support SMEs navigating digital trade regulations.

WTO Deputy Director-General Johanna Hill will deliver closing remarks to cap off the event.

The event is open to both online and in-person attendees. While virtual participants can enjoy the panel discussions, in-person attendees will have the opportunity to engage in live Q&A sessions with our speakers.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with thought leaders and explore how digital trade can create a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable global economy.
