Who do you look up to in the trade world and why? We would love to know the women trade expert that inspire you!

It's easy to change a female role model in the trade world. But if you have great working experience with her, it sticks forever. For my case, she is Anabel González, a deputy director-general at the WTO. I worked with Annabel Gonzalez a few times when she was a non-resident senior fellow a the Peterson Institute for International Economics. I learned a lot from her. For example, not only her expertise is timely impactful for the trade world, but also the way she challenges herself professionally made me to want to become like her. And she was always open to help or advise young researchers when they reach out for help. I believe she will be my role model for much longer time. I always wish the best for her.

In a couple of lines, share with us what inspires you to be part of the TradeExperettes community. Or What is your favorite thing about your career?

I wanted to do something that contributes to gender balanced trade world. And TE was so inclusive and welcoming for people like me.
