In recent years, supply chains have come into sharp focus, yet the complexity of modern supply chains is often poorly understood. TradeExperettes is launching a CuraTEd Series on Global Supply Chains. Our inaugural webinar, Understanding the Complexity of Modern Supply Chains, will be held on November 20, 2024, at 9:00 EST / 15:00 CET / 22:00 SGT.

The panel discussion features a group of distinguished experts: Phil Levy, Lead Trade Economist, World Bank; Shiumei Lin, Vice-President, UPS APAC; Ed Brzytwa, Vice-President of International Trade, Consumer Technology Association; Mayra Souza, Group Director, International Flavors and Fragrances; and Penny Naas, Lead of GMF Allied Competitiveness at the German Marshall Fund and TradeExperettes Advisor.

The panelists will examine the current state of global supply chains and their future trajectory. Why are they so complex? What challenges and opportunities arise from supply chain adjustments in light of geopolitical shifts and technological advancements? How can governments and companies balance competing interests of resilience and efficiency as they seek to de-risk supply chains? And what are the impacts on developing countries and their businesses? This session offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the interconnected nature of supply chains and the strategies required to navigate a rapidly changing global landscape.
